Celiac Diseas is an autoimmune disease that affects one percent of the world's population. To manage the disease sufferers must follow a strict gluten free diet, free of cross contamination. The protocols for keeping people with Celiac Disease safe require knowledge of gluten-containing ingredients and the ability to read food labels for sources of gluten. My son was diagnosed several years ago and I have noticed a lack of easily accessed information about the correct way to identify foods that are safe for someone with celiac disease.
The module below was developed in Articluate Storyline as an assignment for class. It is meant to available on a website dedicated to helping parents and caregivers of children with Celiac Disease. Click on the image below to view the complete module. Use the back button to return to this page.
The following module was developed in Powerpoint for a cat rescue in Chesterfield, VA. The organization wanted a way to inform potential volunteers about the purpose of the organization and prepare them for the less-than-ideal environmental working conditions. The rescue does not have a website or an LMS, so I chose Powerpoint as the development tool. The module will be housed on a member's OneDrive and links will be shared with interested volunteers. Currently, the full module can be downloaded by clicking on the slide below.
